FASHION VICTIMS BY YOLANDA DOMINGUEZ

June 19, 2013

Spanish Artist Yolanda Dominguez felt particularly struck by the clothing factory collapse in Bangladesh, and decided to take action. On the streets of Madrid, three models lie buried under rubble as part of Dominguez' new art installation entitled, Fashion Victims. This installation, meant to reproduce images of the collapse, serves as a reminder of the terrible tragedy and creates awareness for worker safety. Dominguez has produced a video of the installation and intends to recreate it worldwide. LINDSEY
