SUSTAINABLE FASHION TALK CUSP

Friday, March 30, 2012

About two years ago I gave a "TED-style" talk at the annual Cusp Conference in Chicago. The presentation, mostly about my journey as a fashion designer and entrepreneur is now one of the most viewed videos in the conference history. This is what Dave Mason, the event founder, had to say: "Natalia Allen's personal and engaging Cusp 2010 presentation - essentially about questioning and re-imagining her own sense of what it means to be a designer - is proof that the future of design is in good hands." I encourage you to view the clip and learn about the emerging technologies and practices shaping the clothing we wear.

What a brilliant talk. Super educational and inspiring. I’m passing it on to friends in the sustainable design+fashion community as required watching. Thanks for sharing.
