MOST CREATIVE PEOPLE IN BUSINESS

January 30, 2014

Special thanks to editor Robert Safian and the Fast Company team for naming Natalia Allen in Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business 1000. Fast Company has taken note of Natalia and her constant innovations to help create a more balanced fashion industry.

As a fashion designer and entrepreneur Natalia is devoted to creating products that are recognized for their design and practice. Natalia does this in a manner that addresses some of the fashion industry's worst practices: expansive waste, product toxicity and exploitative labor.

Never one to ignore a problem Natalia has adopted a zero-waste practice of designing and manufacturing clothing. She is able to combine art and science in a thought out way while showcasing her minimalist style. Natalia has chosen this path because she believes good design is pleasurable, timeless and leaves a positive impact on society.

Natalia was an honorary guest at The MCP 1000 launch event at their New York City headquarters. The event was hosted by Diane von Furstenberg (DVF), Neil Blumenthal (Warby Parker), Beth Comstock (GE), Michelle Peluso (Gilt Groupe), and Rachel Sterne Haot (Chief Digital Officer, NY State), among others.
